Annual membership is $5 and is valid from the date of purchase until the next AGM.
Memberships must be purchased at least 2 weeks before an AGM to be valid to vote.
Your membership is valid for 1 year from the date of purchase. For example, if you purchase a membership on February 28, 2025, your membership is valid until February 27, 2026.
As our AGMs take place in March. If you purchase a membership after an AGM, your membership will be valid for the following AGM, even if it’s been over a year since you purchased a membership. Memberships are only valid for 1 AGM.
Vancouver Ballroom Arts Society is a registered non-profit organization. Members are an integral part of what we do. As a member, you have a say in ensuring our programming, initiatives, financial spending, and purpose are meeting the needs of the members collectively. At our Annual General Meeting (AGM), you will see financial snapshots of the previous fiscal year, vote on bylaw changes, and elect our Board Members.
